crazyhippylover asked: I’m a new personal trainer and I have my first client, but I don’t know what I should ask during my consultation before I design a program for them.
I already have the PAR-Q and everything else regarding the health screening, etc, I’m talking about design. I know I just have to find out what they are comfortable with, etc. I guess I’m just nervous. And I’m ACE certified btw.

bitterseabrewery asked: Are ther any personal trainers in Toronto? I’m thinking of getting one. I’m a member at Premier Fitness and they charge 50 bucks per session and they can finance this yearly or through 6 months. Has anyone here had a personal trainer before? Any thoughts/results?
How much do fitness trainers regularly cost? Is 50 bucks for a one hour session reasonable?

iwantanewgig asked: My wife has a B.S. in Health and Human Performance from ECU, and is a licensed, practicing, Physical Therapist Assistant in Ohio. She wants to become a Certified Personal Trainer, but isn’t sure who has the most widely respected training program, and which program will yield the best results towards certification.

☼Can U Hear Me Now? asked: Im trying to get back in shape after sitting on my butt and putting on weight for the last 3 years. The problem is I lack motivation. Im curious about trying a personal trainer to get the motivation I need and to lose the weight/tone/add muscle, but Im nervous about the cost…are they usually really expensive and if so, is there somewhere I can look online where the prices are better?
*If it helps, I live in the Washington DC area.
