christinahansen713@sbcglobal.net asked: I want to be a Certified Personal Trainer and don’t know which Association is the best to go through. I’m looking at ISSA and NASM. ACE is my third choice but I have to make a decision by Monday 03/12/07. If you know anything about this, PLEASE HELP!!
Attn PErsonal Fitness Trainers: Where did you get certified? Do you have a membership to any fitness Association? What certification is most widely accepted by gyms?

Lovely_Latina asked: Ok i have been confused on what i want to do in life and i thought business is good but i just dont like it.
I been thinking on what i love and is my passion and i now know that it has to do with fitness. i have always loved playing sports, i been a member of a gym. And now i think that being a personal trainer is what i would like to do. I want to help people achive their fitness goals, i want to see their progress they have made.
So my question is, do you have any tips, suggestions?
I know that i need to get certified but there are many out there. Also what is better an online course that i have seen or an actual hands on, i heard of a place in Dallas but not sure what its called. Also i heard that i need to carry my own insurance or something like that just incase if some one gets hurt.
Any help, tips i will greatly appreciate!!

Pub asked: I’m a personal trainer going to london in two months.
You see personal trainers in london train people in parks? or I’ll have to work in a gym? The reason I ask, is because gym takes 50% of what I make and I would prefer keeping 100% of what I charge for myself.

busybusy asked: I am an independent personal trainer in Texas. I have a main place where I train but clients pay me directly with either cash, checks and now I am even thinking about accepting credit card. Should I open an LLC? Is it better for tax reasons? Please help!

Teresa asked: I am confused by the many Personal Trainer certification organizations. There is ACSM, Aafa, NSSI, ACE etc. I would like to become a personal trainer; however, I am confused by the different agencies. Does anyone know the differences or where I can find out?
